This thing is soft, it's comfortable, it's inch thick elastic is no joke. Once I got 3 of the 4 corners on I was huffing and puffing, bracing with my feet to haul the 4th and final corner into place. It doesn't quite fit my mattress enough to curl under it (I'd say it needs another half inch to do so) and I'd measured before purchasing. I'd say about once a month it pops off the one corner, but I consider that my universal sign to wash it -_-
